Meehan Drilling was contracted by C&C to drill several large production wells for water supply at their cider plant in Clonmel.

The project consisted of:

3 x 440mm production boreholes to 150m for groundwater extraction.
9 x 200mm exploratory boreholes to 150m.
12 x 125mm monitoring wells to 30-50m.

The main production borehole output was in excess of 200m³ per hour.
